Department of Pothu Maruthuvam
Students are taught and trained to diagnose and treat all kinds of common diseases including Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Bronchial Asthma and Arthritis. Both modern and siddha aspects of treatment is taught in an elaborate way.
As the students are exposed to a well functioning Out Patient Department in which around 75 cases are treated daily they get hands on training in diagnosis and management. In In patient ward regular clinics are given by the Doctors of the Department who take rounds. Dr.S.Stanly Thomas M.D(S)
