Department of noi anugavidhi ozhukkam

Time old and tested traditional ways of preventive system are taught to the students by this Department based on the syllabus framed by CCIM. Focus is given on about the preventive methods of communicable diseases, Environment and health, Hospital waste management, Air and water Pollution, Occupational Hazards, Epidemiology of non Communicable Diseases. 

Internees are sent for community health data collection to the nearby villages. They make a survey and find out the environmental terrain, drainage, House sanitation, cleanliness and do health Statistics.

Based on the data medical camps are conducted by the college which includes awareness about personal and public health, occupational hazards, house sanitation food habits and balanced nutritive food.
