Pothu Maruthuvam

In Pothu Maruthuvam all kinds of common diseases and disorders including Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Bronchial Asthma, Sinusitis and different types of Arthritis are treated. This department records maximum numbers of patients in the OPD on average. Good prognosis has been reported by the patients who have suffered for many years with these ailments.

Internees are encouraged to prepare manuscriptic medicines and do clinical trials. Also for outbreaking epidemics like dengue, chickungunya etc our treatment has found to give good results and reduce complications. Asthmatic patients are also treated by this Department with good results. External therapy like massage is given for patients suffering from Cervical Spondylosis, Periarthritis etc
