Admission
The college at present has the capacity to admit 40 students as sanctioned by Government of India, Dept of AYUSH out of which 14 seats are filled by the Management. The remaining 26 seats are filled by allotment through counseling conducted by Directorate of Indian Medicine& Homeopathy, Chennai. The advertisements for issuing of application counseling dates etc., for filling these Government Quota seats will be published in the daily Newspapers.

Application form for Management seats has to be downloaded from this website. The duly filled in application form along with the necessary enclosures should be sent to the college within the stipulated time. The date of issue of application form, e- prospectus and last date for submission of application form will be uploaded in the College website after the declaration of +2 results every year.

Applications will be scrutinized and ranking will be made for eligible candidates based on the marks obtained by candidates in the prescribed science subjects in the qualifying examination. The aggregate marks will be calculated in the same method as done in Government selection.

Selected candidates will be informed about the time and date of interview.

They should bring original documents and prescribed fees.

On admission, the candidate should pay the entire first year fees and they should submit their original certificates. Then only their admission will be confirmed. The claim of eligible candidate will be forfeited in case of following.

    1. If the candidate is absent at the time and date given to him/her.
    2. If the candidate does not join the course.
    3. If the candidate fails to pay the prescribed fees or fails to submit his/her original certificates.
Eligibility for admission

  1. The Candidates should have passed at the qualifying examinations (Academic Stream) after a period of 12 years of study (10 +2) with the subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology) with the minimum eligible marks.


    1. Other Communities (OC) – Minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in science Subjects.
    2. Backward class (BC) – Minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in science subjects.
    3. Most Backward class (MBC) OR Denotified class (DC) -Minimum of 40% Marks in aggregate in science subjects.
    4. Schedule caste/Schedule Tribes -Minimum of 35% marks in aggregate in science Subjects.


    Note: Other state students are considered under other communities (OC)

  2. Candidates should have passed Tamil as a subject in 10th standard or Higher Secondary course.


  3. (or)

    Have to study Tamil as a subject in the 1 professional course.

  4. Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission

    (or)

    Would complete the age on or before 31st Dec. of the year of admission.
